Leaf B&W

When I was looking through my photos from our session I found this one and related to it. This is cheesy but being a new adult leaving my parents made me feel connected to this leaf.

For this edit I thought that if I could make it colored with this technique that it’d keep the fall feeling to it.

Without color the photo made it look very dramatic and meaningful like the leaf was abandoned.

This one is my favorite as it keeps the details in the leaf and is the closest I could get to what I want.

The slight coloring and the dark darks make this one depressive and alone. 

The lighter version made it almost memory like. Like it’s something to reflect on and remember.

Finally in this edit the blue makes it almost unsettling or displaced.
